Rockabilly Clothing More Than Just a Style – A Way of Life

Though rockabilly is most well known as a musical genre, it has inspired a complete lifestyle, including lines of rockabilly clothing. That’s right – even fashion comes out of this sub-culture that’s been created by avid followers and music lovers. Rockabilly clothing imitates the popular 50’s artists such as Buddy Holly and Jerry Lee Lewis, classic rockabilly idols that started a tradition. Typical rockabilly clothing consists of slacks and pastel colored or Daddy-O style shirts. These items are usually topped off by a baggy coat, with the shirt collar worn over the coat collar.
