This rockabilly punk clothing is the chosen wear of most psychobilly rockers. What exactly is psychobilly? Rockabilly was originally a combination of bluesy tunes with a heavy rock beat and a country twang. Take those elements and blend them with modern punk, or British punk rock, with a faster beat and more controversial topics, and you�ve created psychobilly.

Rockabilly punk clothing is not a mainstream style. Most of this clothing is derived from what is found in shops for punk and gothic clothing. In other words, those who follow the psychobilly culture have to search out clothing that will be considered representative of their genre of music. There are very few places to find specific rockabilly punk clothing.

Psychobilly is still a little known musical genre and culture. Although rockabilly made its name in the 1950�s and continues to produce new music today, and punk rock has more recently been the favored musical format in the 1980�s (and is still loved today), the psychobilly style of combining the two has not become a mainstream musical trend. Perhaps in the near future, it will be more popular, and then more rockabilly punk clothing will be more readily found.
